Thanks again to everyone who came out last week. Good times. And as a bonus, inspired by the headline of the StyleSheet post, the great Alphaville, who, come to think of it, would make a great act for an upcoming FrontRow Live. . .

Ben Aqua has undergone some dramatic stylistic changes since his days of one-man confrontational performance art/solo metal act called Assacre, which is where many in the state originally discovered the musician and artist.

The beer will be free. There will be food trucks, and live theater by Upstart Productions. Plus, art and music from three great acts. Don’t miss it.

This Thursday is the second edition of FrontRow Live, presented by Chevy, in which we’ll bring a line-up of acts, including STRFKR, Onra, and DJ Ben Aqua, to perform at the Dallas Contemporary. In addition to the music, the art currently installed at the Dallas Contemporary, the free drinks, and food trucks, FrontRow Live will also feature a theater performance presented by Upstart Productions, and two sound installations curated by Kevin Jacobs of Oliver Francis Gallery.

There’s still time to get tickets for the event (purchase them right here), which starts at 8:30 p.m. As for just what Upstart and Oliver Francis has in store for the evening, you’ll have to show up to find out. For now, some STRFKR for your Tuesday after a long weekend.
