Jaime Foxx Pulls Out of Winspear Appearance

We thought Jaime Foxx was making his way back to Texas this week (and we had tickets to giveaway), but now comes word that the actor and musician has pulled out of his Winspear appearance. If you are the type of person who immediately wants to find someone to blame, then turn your gaze to Mr. Quentin Tarantino. Foxx is playing the title character in an upcoming movie by the director, Django Unchained, work on which has purported required his cancellation. Jamie Foxx Cancels Due to Unexpected Scheduling Conflict

AT&T Performing Arts Center’s December 1 Show

 

DALLAS (November 30, 2011) – The AT&T Performing Arts Center regretfully announces today, the cancellation of an “Evening with Jamie Foxx” due to an unexpected scheduling conflict with a movie he is currently filming with famed director Quentin Tarantino.

Mark Weinstein, President and CEO of the AT&T Performing Arts Center said, “The Brinker International Forum is a series dedicated to bringing cultural influencers toDallasand engaging and inspiring conversation on the beautiful Winspear Opera House stage. While we are disappointed that Mr. Foxx is unable to come to this event, we are confident that we will find a replacement for a future date that will be equally as inspirational.”
