There’s no indication of what impact this may have on the Goss-Michael Foundation, but according to the Associated Press, British pop singer George Michael has broken it off with Kenny Goss, due to, the singer says, “Goss’s struggle with alcohol addiction.”
From the report:
The 48-year-old singer — appearing at the Prague State Opera House on the opening night of his “Symphonica” tour — told the audience Monday “Kenny and I haven’t been together for two and a half years.”
“My love life has has been a lot more turbulent than I’ve let on,” he said, dedicating a new song “Where I hope you are” to Goss. “This man has brought me a lot of joy and a lot of pain.”
The fact that the split occurred some time ago may suggest that will not have an immediate effect on the pair’s foundation, which moved into its new home in the Design District this past year where it has begun to rotate exhibitions by a list of high-caliber British artists while displaying the couple’s art collection.
