Opens June 29Disaster movies usual find their roots in some great social anxiety, and Transformers offers two: world domination by machines and an alien invasion that will enslave mankind. Perhaps you could add a third anxiety to the Transformers storyline. Late in the film, during the final epic showdown between Opitimus Prime and Sentinel Prime, Sentinel chides his opponent and former pupil, “On our planet we were gods!” He wants to be godlike again on earth, and we turn white in anticipation of the consequences: a metaphysical revolt, the return of Zeus and the citizens of Olympus, chided for millennia and unleashing their fury against the gnat-y ambition of humanity. Machines, aliens, and angry mythological beings: Transformers betrays the psychoses of a very uncomfortable humanity.
But don’t worry, theses sweeping allegorical readings only play lightly in the background of Michael Bay’s latest super-blow ‘em up, super shoot ‘em up, super-charged summer blockbuster. Transformers is derived from the Hasbro line of toys that became popular in the 1980s, garnering its own television cartoon. Coming off a dismal sequel to a well-loved reimagining of the Transformers story, with Transformers: Dark of the Moon director Michael Bay seems intent on getting the roller coaster ride back on track.
And as a kick-ass summer blockbuster, Transformers: Dark of the Moon is pretty kick-ass. Its chases are adrenaline-filled and inventive. Its explosions and crashes are massive and mesmerizing. And for the final epic showdown, which, truth be told, runs a good twenty minutes longer than it should, the entire city of Chicago becomes the setting of large scale urban/mechanical warfare, which sees skyscrapers toppling over skyscrapers, humans flying out of helicopters in winged suits, robots dancing through the constant rain of broken glass, and plenty of cheesy action dialogue: “Look out!” “Fire!” “Heads up!” “Aarrrgh!” It’s everything you want from a giant air conditioned movie theater in July.
The latest Transformers is not without its dozens of dramatic shortcomings, but it opens with a rather well-crafted sequence that took the air out of the crowded theater I was in during the preview. Intercutting historical archive footage and recreated scenes, Transformers: Dark of the Moon re-imagines the entire United States space program as a mission to find a mysterious extraterrestrial object that scientists observed crash landing into the dark side of the moon. We see Kennedy demanding a united effort to man a lunar landing. We see Neal Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin (who actually makes a real cameo later on) landing their lunar pod on the powdery moon surface. Then, when America is told that the spacecraft is on the far side of the moon and radio contact is lost, the real mission begins, and the historic figures inspect what turns out to be an alien spacecraft.
This would have been a great way to launch the entire Transformers movie series, but we’re dealing here with episode three, so the movie jumps forward to where the second film left off. Shia LeBeouf is Sam Witwicky, the wet behind the ears twenty something who first befriended the good Transformers – the Autobots – and helped them fend off the evil Decepticons in the prior movies. Now he is an unemployed loudmouth somehow dating and living with a woman far out of his league, Carly (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley), whose role in this movie seems to be 90 percent eye candy and 10 percent fueling a superfluous romantic subplot. Carly is one of only three women in the film, the others being Frances McDormand’s impossibly domineering, ball-breaking military officer and Julie White’s nagging wife and mother, Judy Witwicky, reassuring us that chauvinism is alive and well in Hollywood.
Sam is miffed because the U.S. military, which is now working with the Autobots to take care of all sorts of international problems (like blowing up nuclear sites in the Middle East), has left him out of the fun. The US government partnership with the super-powered machine race is worrysome enough, but in the movie it is brushed off, naturally, as a perfectly fine evolution in global geo-political order.
Much of the early part of the movie revolves around Sam’s lackluster attempts to find work. This churns up John Malkovich, who infuses the movie with some of its only true charm as the overbearing, obsessive compulsive boss Bruce Brazos. Bruce hires Sam for some reason, and it quickly turns out that the young man finds himself at the center of Decepticon effort to use a handful of humans as pawns in their effort to resume the task of world domination. There’s a semi-hilarious scene between Sam and a co-worker Jerry Wang (Ken Jeong), who conveniently hands him some folder papers that explain the whole thing. Then Wang is wacked by his Decepticon handler and the chase heats up. Sam digs up some old friends – Simmons (John Turturro) – and takes it on himself to save the world on behalf of the U.S. government.
As an hors d’œuvre to the main course of action, this early-film goofing around is entertaining enough to keep us involved, even if Sam and Rosie’s relationship, and the addition of her nasty boss Dylan (Patrick Dempsey) to the mix is a chore to sit through (as is the copious product placement). There are some sudden and interspersed chases, and the whole thing develops in a clunky manner until we get to the great culminating video game that is the real focus of the film. There, Transformers 3 succeeds by comparison, overcoming the visual clutter and suspense-less-ness of the second installment with some quality, if dragged-out showdowns. It’s good versus evil, bullets verses brawn, and as a thoughtless, no nonsense, drawn-out summer ride, it is pretty darn fun to subject yourself to it.

You’re aware Duhamel plays Lennox, a NEST commander, and Patrick Dempsey plays Rosie’s boss……. Duhamel was also in the first two playing the same role. Peter Simek, probably should’ve taken some notes.

My Son and I went to see the pre-release last night and TF3 is by far the best of the Transformers movies. I for one loved the setup in the beginning and the plot twist, even though not dramatic, but good. This movie is surely the block buster of the summer and I can not wait to go see it again. Great Movie.
Just saw this movie today. The Good ~ Great action. The Bad ~ plot line is really weak. It doesn’t make sense why there would be a Revenge of the Fallen based on this movie. This 3rd installment seemed to run from the first movie. Chemistry between the new girl and Sam is pretty bad too. I miss Megan Fox. I think Michael Bay will regret firing her.
Tons of action but got really boring in the middle, i actually fell asleep!
The movie is great I like the action the 3D is great. But they needed Megan fox that new girl sux bad. She is not even that great at acting or looking good. She was just a stick doing nothing. If Megan fox was still there I think the movie would had taken a different direction and been even better.
overall its a good movie better then 2 and more action then 1 but what the hell happend to soundwave, I read somewhere that hes up there in the top 5 G1 transformers but what a waist of a great bot!! was really looking fwd in see him in action and saw him twice very disappointing and there not being a real main villian,dont remember magatron and shockwave in the same shot together.. sad but as an action film I give it on 8/10 as a true transformer film 5/10

I haven’t seen this one yet will be going next week. I am so excited I think it will be great. And i’m not sure why everyone keeps knocking the second movie I thought it was awesome..great action and stuff blowing up. plus loved the wisecracking robots they made the movie.
apart from sentinel prime, Optimus and bumblebee – the rest of the Transformers don’t get a look in. What in the hell was Megatron up too for half the movie??? It’s not Transformers as nothing was really transforming, just US Army killing everything as usual.
I thought the movie was the typical Mike Bay transformers movie. Meaning, the action is in your face, can’t tell who is who, all over the place, a mess. The new girl is too hot to be in this movie, she’s a victoria secretes model, looks and acts like one too. Why can’t they get a normal looking girl and not a super model? Doesn’t make sense, she is so hot I lost track of the movie and just stared at her. Anyways, boring, almost fell asleep twice, starts off very sloooowwww and Sam acts like an idiot goof ball just like in the other tf movies. Once again, Bay is trying to make this movie too comical and funny which fails badly. All the jokes are dumb and pointless. Lots of good action, beware, I got a head ache after watching this one.

It was a typical Bay film, eye candy and explosions. It was better than the 2nd attempt, but it could have been less cheesy.

I didn’t like the new girl. She came off as a plastic Barbie doll with no personality. While I’m not a huge Megan Fox fan, at least there was some sense in her and Sam’s relationship. This new girl, not so much. She’ll end up being the Jar Jar Binks of the Transformers franchise.
I hated the movie. I’ve followed every transformer universe, every story and plot to the T. The movie pissed me off…here’s why.
1) Hasbro is the Primus of Transformers, not associated or any of that crap.
2) Why does every woman brought into the story like look like a hooker or a tramp…honestly!
3) After Revenge of the Fallen, how can ‘Sam’ move on and ‘fall in love’ with anouther chick so quickly?
4) What happened to ‘Makallia’? No back story or why the break up.
5 ) Mr.Bay…for the love of Primus, Cybertron looks like the Star Wars Death Star. Not a freaking jungal gym.
6) Stop inventing charaters. There are hundreds if you do any FREAKIN’ RESEARCH!

whoever says this movie was “boring” or “not funny” or even “a fail” obviously has no personality, and they probably just see the world in black and white. tf3 was one of the best movies i have seen in a while, the new girl is gorgeous and glad they replaced meagan fox. there are more siiick cars and what not throughout the mvie as well…honestly this movie was great thank you steven speilberg and micheal bay for making my $12.50 and 3 hours worth it<3
Makela and Sam were “ordained’ to be together in the First movie, as Bumblebee worked to get them to fall in love. And in the second one, Sam finally said he loved her…. and then she’s gone. this new lady just, was, Not Believable at all. OH well…. Still great action and the super hero Optimus working with the nerd Hero Sam. Trekkie alert to what Leonard Nimoy says toward the end of the movie about the needs of the many outweighing the needs of the few. Long live Spock!!!
The movie was a fail, especially in the end with all that freedom bull****, can u do less propaganda and more movie play. Except the special effects the acting and the drama were pretty awful, not the worst but definnetly not the best either. The first Tf was better then this bang bang, waw, movie. I guess average people are impresed by explosions some propaganda about freedom.
Awful intro with the history waffle,that meant nothing to nobody but the Wiltwiffy Greeks.Great visuals,too much was performed to show off some 3D sequence that mostly served no purpose than to show off “I can do 3D”.The action sequence was non-stop,meaning random blasting,explosions and end-of-world morosity.The acting was good,even some of the humans looked almost realistic.In summary – waffle,bang bang boom,ahhhh.Not a patch on the original or even the second. Disappointed
i agree with Razor Blade. A HUGE dissapointment for real transformers fans. RESEARCH plz.. So many autobots and decepticons to choose from G1, G2 and G3. Dont have to create new ones.What happened to Ultra Magnus, Astro Train, Dinobots, Blaster etc.. Why can the decepticons change to anything and autobots still stuck as a car ? Can some other director please do a reboot of transformers.. Christopher Nolan maybe…

Disappointed, I grew up with transformers and when transformers 2 came out i thought well Optimus dies gloriously and comes back with the matrix of leadership which he has on the series so all was ok, but this time seen him (a glorious prime) getting his butt kicked all the time, tangled with wires, saved by Megatron, his arm cut off, come on Michel Bay you ruined it for me.
Effects are great but for fans this movie deserves a 2 out of 10.

The movie in the end is watchable… unfortunately it just doesn’t compare to the first two,the first one is still the best overall, I still don’t get tired of seeing that one and have seen it many many times.
Basically this one fails with the new GF… WTF was that all about? Megan Fox had the attitude and her role in the first two films actually meant something. The new girl is basically eye candy with a pathetic attempt in the end by Bay to make her inclusion in the film actually mean something.
To note: really cool intro, good action scenes and special effects, and a good amount of scenes that you get a good laugh out of makes the movie watchable as stated. Unfortunately too many scenes which are supposed to make you laugh… well… sucked.
Also consider this… the bad ass decepticon of the film (shockwave) did nothing other than posing for most of the scenes in the movie.
Another thing to mention that is really becoming annoying is the fact that movies are presenting the US flag every chance they have now… what’s the deal with that? Although not as imposing as in one of the spidey movies, Bay still had to pose the flag in this one… not against the US flag or anything, but still annoying. And yes, they have the right to show it… but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t get annoying after a while.

I’ve given Bay 3 chances to make a good Transformers film and each time he has failed. Will someone please stop this mad man called Bay before he further scars me for life. These films are nearly as bad as Bay’s portrayal of Pearl Harbor.

Omg, lol. What was all that crap!? Figures everyone thinks that pile of crap was the best. A many minute sequence of a bunch of humans flying through the air is not transformers. A bunch of people pointing guns at each other is not transformers. A bunch of explosions is not transformers. Optimus Prime is the epitome of good and righteousness. He does not go around telling his foes ‘Time for you to die!’. A bunch of humans screaming on top of their lungs is not transformers. I have seen twirling robots and slo-mo transformation sequences before. Fight scenes interrupted by needless dialogue. This movie was fail on almost all levels.
I am not done with my rant yet. Megaton and Optimus. The characters that the ENTIRE transformers are based on. The ultimate conflict between justice and tyranny. Optimus, without hesitation, brutally kills Megatron after Megatron ironically saves his life. What the **** was THAT?!?!?
Too much screen on Rosie I would say unecesary screen and her mouth is open the whole time. Excelent robots and effects give us more of that next time and less of the girl for this kinds of movies .
To sum it up, boring movie. Lots of mindless repetitive action. Had to fight to stay awake midway through, that never happens to me at the movies. Some of the robots were silly ie, the old manbot with blue hair and the mini-bots. The relentless pounding and in your face is way overdone. Don’t waste your money, go see Cars 2, great!
i just watched it yesterday i luv it.. i agree there were times when the plot was a little chessy but over i loved the action and the new girl was not bad even though i kind of miss meghan fox. good job micheal bay and everybody else :)
The movie entertains you with lots of CGI, a few good laughs and a hot blond with a British accent and awesome boot. Weird seeing Megatron as a nomad with no purpose and sitting like a derelict with a cloth hood. The strangest was the Autobot with an old man’s head and bald white hair. WTF? I cringed during Wang’s scene with Sam in the bathroom stall…completely inappropriate for anyone, especially kids. John Turturro never disappoints and gives great laughs. Extremely disturbing when Sam kills Patrick Dempsey’s character by bashing in his head with a metal pipe…then later makes out with his girlfriend with a happy ending. The building toppling over and all rebels surviving tumbling debris should have been cut out. Reminds me of the Jurrasic Park movies where they kill time with people in vehicles hanging before plunging from great heights.

Verdict. Movie has lots of action and entertins. I saw 3-D version and it added no value and made my eyes tired and sleepy. I hope this is the last Transformers movie or it gets a complete makeover like they did for The Hulk movies.
Save a lot of money and watch it on Netflix for cheap.

transformers 3 was rather a good movie but some parts of it just had no point at all! sam’s new gf is such a terrible actor like seriously while the entire fight scene is going on she’s just there without any bruises and cuts and megatron will never listen to her! I soooo rather Megan fox than her at least Megan fox could act!! I agree this movie had its faults and overall the 1st transformers is the best i saw it 4 times and never get tired of it :D
there were some comments here that Micheal Bay needed to do more research. I think this is incorrect. I think the studio did a phenomenal amount of research and it clearly shows: The film was targeted at the 5 to 13 year old male age group. I love hot women and men in a movie, but Mutant botox lips, lack of lines (or women with anything meaningful to say) and wearing the same flawless high heels through an entire movie (yes, even while sliding down the side of a falling building) a great movie does not make. Transformers looking less and less like robots and more and more like WWF stars is completely disappointing. What happened to the transformation sequences btw? Michael B, did you forget the name of your own film for the sake of Attendance? I suspended my disbelief for a good long while, but lost it at the first person shooter camera angle near the end. I’m not saying this movie should be different really, but I’m disappointed with myself for handing over money (and wasting 2 hours I will never get back) to see a film that promised so much and delivered absolutely nothing. I’m still riding the high from the first two movies, and that’s what got me through this one. I’m sad because I grew up with Transformers and (as this is the last one) I’m sad to see that Hollywood would kill it in this way. I’m sure this thing will make a lot of people rich. But this is not a film, it’s not a story, it is flats-screen, non interactive entertainment pulling all the below the belt tricks to keep up with video games and sex. If drugs were legal, they would have put it in the pop corn. If Michael B. makes another one he better call it “Transformers 4: The Apology”
Sam, you jumped from a relation with a woman who was willing to flight along side with you and drive for BB in battle for a poutie blond who likes expensive cars, expensive men and gives you crap for all the time for not having a job and for just being yourself. Looks like you are on the rebound my friend and you should have given yourself a bit of time before jumping into that one. IMHO.

the movie ending is as horrible as it can get. The good always end the evil’s act at the end, but with what fashion? Do you have to make prime loss like the looser he always was and have someone bail him out? Come on, make him strong for god’s sake. My mind went numb. The last hour was just a big roar of noise and flashing colors. CGI effects can clealy make anything look real – like for example – a giant robotic snake that bores into a skyscraper. That’s cool. So why not. But it’s getting to be too much. I’m no longer impressed with movies that just focus on CGI effects and explosions while leaving the storyline and characters to be secondary elements. And it’s not just Michael Bay’s stuff. The last few action movies I’ve seen are getting to be like this. Sooner or later, an action movie will just be a strobe light and white noise. JMO
First of all, let me say that I was a kid when the Transformers came out in the early 80′s and I loved them. I had many Transformers and watched the cartoons as well. The first movie was well done…good storyline…believable characters played well by talented actors. The sequel was good but the storyline and characters/acting started to weaken, but I still love and watch them often. With the third one, Hollywood took a great thing and did what they always do with an original idea/concept from the past….manage to completely screw it up by going too far with an idea that wasn’t theirs to begin with. I was VERY disappointed with this Transformers…The storyline sounded like it came from an episode of the Power Rangers. All of the human and Transformer characters have changed in nature….and not for the better. My 8 yr old son and I loved the first two and watched the trailer for this one thinking it would be a great film that followed the first two in nature…BOY WERE WE WRONG!! My son fell asleep half way through the movie and it wasn’t because he was tired…it was that boring in the middle and the end was just Hollywood tricks…nothing more. This was one of the biggest disappointments of any movie I have ever seen. I am now convinced that Hollywood knows how many people will eat up this crap…spend their hard earned money to go see it on the big screen without caring if the movie is actually a movie or just Hollywood knowingly sucking your

Not much to see in this movie than some cool CGI. The movie got so boring that the loud noise of robots fighting and people screaming failed to keep me awake for most part of the last hour. The new girl is hot but lacks Megan’s charm.

I have been waiting along time for this movie to be made and to see it. I loved the other two movies. But this movie, I plan on forgetting and going back to watching Transformers 1 and 2. First, Optimus Prime does not get tangled in telephone wires for a whole hour. Second, he does not say ‘please’ when another transformer, Prime or not, is about to kill him. And third, when Star Scream has Sam hanging from his eyeball, does he really say “I’ll kick you!!” ???? Really? All the high tech fighting going on around them and he says that?? I may have heard him wrong, I hope so. Also, the girl… ok… yeah, she is hot. But she ran during the entire movie is heels and was always wearing white that never seemed to get dirty. Seriously? She falls through a crumbling building and doesn’t get a scrape or even dirty? And finally, Megatron listens to her tell him he will be someone’s b****? Ok.

Are you people serious??! This movie was amazing for what is was made for, action!!!! I can’t stand when some of you over thinking, over emotional, over realistic, over dramatic, etc, etc folks go watch a movie like Transformers and expect some type of Lord of the Rings or The Notebook story and plot. SMDH… These are alien robots changing into freaking transportation, etc, fighting for dominance or freedom. These types of movies are meant for you to open your mind and just be entertained, not break down what makes sense or doesn’t! I grew up with Transformers, had every damn toy, but Im not that sensitive because some things are different, people, this movie is mainly for kids and teens and us adults that enjoy Fiction. Go watch a documentary if you want “REAL”! ITS A Si-Fi MOOOOVIE!!! Human beings get so spoiled; the more creative and hard work that gets put into these movies, CGI, etc. the more y’all complain that things aren’t good enough. The same people that if you had to be without your cell phone for a week, your whole world would fall apart and probably would commit suicide, LMAO!!
Yes as most have said very disappointed. I really thought Bay would redeem himself from the disastrous T2 of no plot and the “all they did was constantly run throughout the entire movie”. I was totally exhausted ..lol and used the girl only as a “lets just show her assets.” T3 geez where do i start. Cheezy action gags that i have seen over and over again. Reminded me of 80′s shows i used to watch. Then you have even more cheezy dialogue. I was rolling my eyes so much i got a headache. Then u add insult by adding even cheezier laugh gags. With all this cheese, i’ll be bunged-up for a week. Like when Simmons being interviewed and some old senile guy keeps walking in front of the camera and comes back again drops a hammer. wtf?. John Malkovich character again head shaker, seen it before. Yells at an employee and she runs off crying “yawn”. When he meets Bumble Bee does this pretend boxing to get him to attack him or something.. what? and yes the girl all has been said. The 2 little house bots annoyed me the entire movie.. and why do all the bots talk like their a gangster or rapper. Even Bumble Bee T1 he only spoke once but it had an innocence to it. T3 sounded like a-wanna-be drug dealer. Was that Rachet disintegrate and die, without a peep or tear from all his fellow soldiers/friends? Ok, the beginning was pretty ingenuous, reminded me of the T1, about how this all began. Mars, eyeglasses, secret embedded location and etc. Made me think yes we r on the right track get ready for an awesome ride….psych!! I also found President Robert Kennedy face dubbed in really creepy. It didn’t blend in well at all face look distorted. On the positive note. Action was good and effects phenomenal. Well just incase u didn’t get my long rant, the movie was another dud. But i am sure if they make a T4 i will be there in the theatre murmuring – “ok boys lets try this again”..
Had to comment just seen it and 30 minutes later im searching for reviews and comments to know im not alone in my feelings or train of thought. i used to watch the cartoons as a kid i even watched the cgi beast wars im that much of a fan, i sat threw 1 i loved it u had the cheesy yet classic optimus prime lines that echoed threw my whole body that screamed yes this is transformers the movie! then along came the second one i actually liked it, ok yes it was a bit duller then the first one, but still it it gave fair screen time to all the new transformers and at least you can remember there names. Ok but his is about transformers 3 overall was good action and fast paced, but this is transformers we are talking about and as some have said about there supposed to transform! i was not that to disappointed in that area but still a few extra scenes with them actually transforming between modes would of been nice. my main naggin annoying feeling that has completely destroyed my sense of the good and evil not its not the new actress or sams actual role in the story this time around its fact new transformers that have there name mentioned one get thrown around and does anyone without looking at it again or searching(google) remember the transformers that aired in this other then the main ones? ok people hated wheely but u remember them!! i liked the red autobot transformer car .. o wait what was his name? but once again i can live threw this its transformers! then everything tops dead when we come near the end optimus has gone from “one shall stand and one shall fall” “freedom is the right of every sentient being” to “kill em all” and “die” like that crossed the line after an epic battle in the first one an semi battle in the second one, megatron falls in 30 seconds to prime after he got beaten up? i was expecting at the end primes eyes to tingly red slightly like his turning into a deceptacon it was that way of character.
plot should of gone something like this kept tf2 transformers (ones that lived) keep the first part of the plot sentential prime going bad etc .. he could of killed of the twins then form tf2 without having to reintroduce new character or make them up. megatron kills sentential prime much earlier once gates opened for first time bringing the cons army threw what 200 of em ? this si where my own imagniation kicks in better the planet starts to come threw the autobots lay seige to the city some are captured optimus takes on a battle with 3 unknown cons which ties him up magtron laughing at the sky as u see a top down view of the city of explostsions megatron looks up laughing as he sees his reinforements coming down “finally this planet and all its energon are mine” .. primes kills a con and looks up “Nooooooooooooooo” all looks lost then megatron stumbles as missle hits the base of his feet as hot rod and ultra magnus come flying down ina ship with the dinobots .. no introduction nesscary followed in hot pursuit by a con army riding into the battle jumping out as the ship blows up behind and take up arms with there autobot brothers fighting it out telling” prime go thats ur fight with megatron” as prime transforms and rolls threw the city explostions all round as he drives in his truck from knocking cons out the way as he does a mid air transform jump and launches him self of a brig and hurtling towards the building where megatron is regaining his balance .. fill in fight scenes some some epic dialongue end it with megatron almost deing being sucked back to cybertron with starscream, soundwave and prime losing what seems his life disappearing as well with the matrix of leader ship being left behind. Q transformers 4 .. a remake of the transformer: the movie , animated version with variants ^^

2 words…ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! The best of the 3 in sooo many ways! 3D was excellent, storyline great, effects were hands down the best! HOPE FOR MORE…this one was less love story WAY more action and transformers. A MUST SEE! Whoever rates this fabulous creation anything less than an A+++++++ doesn’t know perfection! Keep up the great work Michael n I can’t wait to see what u have coming next! This one will b hard to top but u r amazing n so was the cast, effects, everything! !!!!!!!!
Awful movie…… WTF happen to the cartoon. From TF1 to this crap. Bay used to much explosions, to many plot lines, and buried a series that would have made more than Harry potter. Oh btw. Bumble bee still cant speak? Awful. Go film armageddon 2 you degenerate.

i lost the track of the storiline of the t2 to the t3 this because i assume that when sam is going to get is medal from the president of USA is imediatly after he saves the world so he should still be with macaila and it is in that moment that he falls in love with that girl.
well besaides that he think that i think it had some good special effects but the middle of the film was a little bit boring and the ending OMG it was completly AWLFULL megatron saves optimus that was having hes ass kicked by sentinel and then when sentinel is dead optimus kills megatron.
sry Bay if you are going to do a t4 try showing less that girl that had no chemistry with sam and contract megan fox again

Dude if your a hardcore Transformers fan since the beginning you might not like the movie because some characters die, but hear me out how can you have a war with nobody dying???? I mean seriously if you complain about the bad guys dying then screw you because how are the Autobots supposed to win when the Decepticons are still alive????There is only one Autobot that dies in the movie so unless you’re a hardcore Transformers fan you shouldn’t care about that. If you know everything about Transformers then you shouldn’t see this movie because you’re just going to come out crying because your beloved characters don’t match the original Transformers G1 timeline because they were already supposed to be dead or they didn’t exist or things like that. If you’re not those hardcore since the beginning Transformers fan then you should definitely see this movie!!!!!! Special Effects are great, with action throughout the whole movie, and with short but sweet dramatic twists and emotional appeal if you’re a new Transformers fan (since 1st Transformers movie). For old fans a sad 3/10 but if you are new to the series…….10/10 A MUST SEE!!!!!!!!

The first part of this movie was dull. I was very disappointed that such a poor actor was selected to play the part of the leading lady. Maybe it’s just me but if the producers decided to replace a “hot” leading lady, make sure the next is hotter and a better actress that the fans would love. Rosie’s character can across as dim who was not really into Sam. How did the producers make the 2 main characters life partners! Bloody Hell! The action bits did not fail and its what Transformers fans love. If there are to be any further installments, i hope the producers recognise the error of their judgment.
Listen, you FREAKING HATERS! I was waiting for a make-up for t2, and I loved it. Megan Fox is not in the movie, but all you guys are just saying you want her back because you think she’s hotter than the new girl. My only two complaints are that Ironhide dies(he was my favorite) and the beginning is sort of boring.It is a crime not to watch this in 3D. Best parts? autobots pretending to take off in ship and coming back in the end. I cried. Starscream dying comes in first though… I hate him…..
I thought this movie was absolutely amazing. went to see it three times & cried when the autobots were “sent away” every time. Amazing action, you could really get into it. i loved every second of it and i love that megatron died, he was a bastard. that is all =)
Terrible!!! Major let down! No plot, LeBluff over did his cry baby routine, acting sucked, and as long as the end took to develop you could have done so much more with the middle….. 1 star
This is for all the suck-up haters, the movie is a Michael Bay,s transformers, not Hasbro transformers or g1 g2 g3…………so he can do whatever the hell he wants!……..and yes i grew-up just like the rest with a transformer, we are not on 80s now…..people change, overcome and adapt.so do the transformers, whatever autobot or decepticon…………and in essence….it always has been the civil war between them……………..and Michael Bay u did a great job on this film…..u,ve learned the mistakes from the second…….therefore, u,ve created a much more darker one……..with no prisioners! or mercy! Keep it on!
Are you kidding me??? The movie absolutely SUCKED!!! They ripped off The Island AND Predator!! Transformers, for one, DON’T HAVE HAIR! It was supposed to be like the cartoon and instead they just ripped it to shreds. I am deeply disappointed that michael bay and spielberg would even allow it to be released! Oh lets add a vs model noone will notice nothing about this movie is from the original we just stole from a bunch of other completely unrelated movies!!!! Ugh
And I must add, if a person has to sit there and repeat when the heck will it ever end, it must’ve been a piss poor movie. MICHAEL BAY….PLEASE STOP WHILE AHEAD.

I watched the movie much later and… .I am glad I did not go to cinema on it. Just plain terrible. I wanted a movie about transformers, not humans going about their business. Sorry, this is not transformer movie. It almost falls in line with Argentina soup operas. Long and pointles plot.
