On July 9, Dallas band The Beaten Sea stopped by the D Magazine offices for a little conference room performance, the first in what we hope will become a regular video series featuring local musicians. The band played three songs, and chatted about their shared time with The Dallas Family Band, the way house shows support the local music scene, and establishing a home base for their musical collective in a space next to the Double Wide in Deep Ellum.
