Ticket Giveaway: Two Pairs to the Brentano String Quartet

We’ve been lucky enough to give away tickets to see some pretty impressive acts from around the globe, from Russian pianist Olga Kern to Louisiana crooner Marc Broussard. Next up on the bill, we have the Brentano String Quartet, a group of renowned musicians who have won all kinds of accolades since its inception in 1992. Violinists Mark Steinberg and Serena Canin, violist Misha Amory, and cellist Nina Lee showcased their skill in some of the world’s most prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Sydney Opera House in Australia, and the Wigmore Hall in London. Now their music is featured (and Lee has a cameo) in the new film A Late Quartet.

The Quartet was invited to perform at Bass Performance Hall next Tuesday, November 13th as part of its collaboration effort in the Semifinal Round of the very respected Fourteenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 2013. In the competition, 12 up and coming pianists will get the chance to work on new music with the Quartet and perform when the series begins May 2013. Of course, we’re giving away tickets to see the Brentano String Quartet next week. Just answer this question in the form below: which famous pianist has the Quartet performed with in Japan, Europe, and the United States?
