The USA Film Festival will be screening five of director Alexander Payne’s films at the Angelika Film Center leading up to the release of his much anticipated George Clooney-staring The Descendants. Tonight, you can catch Citizen Ruth, followed tomorrow by the great (and maybe my favorite Payne movie) Election. Wednesday brings About Schmidt, and on Thursday, Sideways will screen. Finally, a week from today, you can see The Descendants in a preview screening. All the screenings are free for USA Film Festival members, and $6 for everyone else (except for The Descendants preview, which is free for all).
