One of the best young theater companies in the region has branched out its programming to include movies. Upstart Productions will launch Upstart Cinema this Friday, February 25 with a screening of Frank Mosley’s (impressive feature debut) Hold at the American Beauty Mill Lofts. Mosley and Hold screenwriter and leading actor Robby Storey will be in attendance. The idea for Upstart Cinema is an extension of the theater company’s primary mission, “to support local up-and-coming artists across different mediums.” To find out more about the event, visit their facebook page.
