On November 18, FrontRow Presents is offering the opportunity to see a documentary film, Conjure Women, which explores the creative process, artistry, and philosophy of four African American female artists. Chosen by Dallas artist Annette Lawrence as part of FrontRow’s continuing film series, the movie focuses on the work of four artists working in different mediums: dancer and choreographer Anita Gonzalez, performance artist and theater director Robbie McCauley, photographer Carrie Mae Weems, and vocalist and Grammy award-winner Cassandra Wilson.

 Made in 1995 and initially shown on PBS, a public screening of this film is a rare treat that we are proud to make possible.
