I know how it is filmmakers and creative gents and gals. Why work on any project if it is not hours before the deadline? What other provocation is effective except for the steady march of the point beyond which projects are rendered irrelevant? Well then, I have some good news: The Texture of Dallas competition’s deadline is making a quick approach. How do we know? Well, because the deadline is exactly one week from today. But how else do we know? Because the Video Festival’s Bart Weiss has finally submitted his entry. I even uploaded something last night, and the competition’s first fiction piece – a swine flu-themed zombie movie – has also come in.
