This weekend the Nasher opens an exhibition of British sculptor Rachel Whiteread’s drawings and sketches, Rachel Whiteread: Drawings. Last night, the museum hosted a preview, and after dinner, the artist, visiting curators, patrons, collectors, donors, and other art world gadflies made their way to Kenny Goss’ house for a graciously hosted after party. As guests arrived, they were greeted by Whiteread’s latest work (above and below in photo by Jeanne Prejean), which the artist just finished installing at Goss’ pad this week. After the jump, you can find a video produced by the MFA Boston with Ms. Whiteread speaking about her drawings and working process. Also, look for Noah Simblist’s review of Whiteread’s show on FrontRow early next week.
