Blame it on critical pear pressure, deference to our college art history professors, or, well, wiki-objectivity, that was the final, and in the end number two seed Cy Twombly pulled off the victory with 57% of the vote. Disappointed Kelly fans may want to head over to the Amon Carter and lick their wounds in front of the two pieces of Kelly’s that are part of the American Moderns on  Paper exhibition.
