The Dallas Opera will announce its 2010-2011 season on Tuesday, February 23, in the Hamon Hall in the Winspear Opera House. I have only one sneak peek to offer: in a conversation with Dallas Opera Artistic Director Jonathan Pell last summer, he told me to expect a performance of Wagner’s Tristan and Isolde in the near future. We’ll expect confirmation Tuesday. And now, the release:

Tristan and Isolde is the most tedious, yawn-inspiring, laugh-inducing (and not the pleasant kind of laugh) opera I’ve ever seen.
I’m am RSVPing for 2/23/10 new season announcement
I left a vm early this am; however, have not

I looks like it will be another failed season.
